Joe Biden is taking cues from his campaign surrogate and obedient labrador Mayor Garcetti on how to stay invisible from the public. Instead of assuring the American people that their presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has their best interests in mind, Biden has been in hiding to avoid awkward questions about why he doesn’t support universal healthcare. Perhaps his billionaire friends know his whereabouts? Like Garcetti, Biden values sucking up to the 1% over the needs of impoverished Americans, telling them “I need you very badly,” last year. The wealthy sure know how to practice “class solidarity” in these chaotic times.
