Mayor Garcetti was absolutely devastated yesterday, when it was announced he would not be Joe Biden’s running mate. Garcetti groveled with the best of them, but SKD Knickerbocker called on Thursday to tell him he would merely be “part of a team” that is being “put in charge” of the Democratic Nominee-To-Be’s VP selection. While Eric is off cosplaying in Presidential Politics, residents of Los Angeles are struggling to pay their rent, with many electing to save that money for food. He has the power to open hotels for the more than 60,000 people that are unhoused in the county today, but he owns a hotel, so don’t expect him to use that emergency power any time soon. He’s too busy looking for his next job.
